Jesper Andreasson, London-based singer-songwriter and frontman of Diamond Meadows

Diamond Meadows is the solo project of Jesper Andreasson. He fronted the cult LA band Citrus, his voice described as “a form of pure emotion,” reaching “the ecstatic heights of Jeff Buckley.”

His debut EP Better Man features Jeff Friedl (A Perfect Circle) on drums and earned praise from producer Jay Ruston, who said: “Jesper Andreasson’s soaring vocals shine. The lyrics rival any poet, and the emotion in his delivery is on par with Thom Yorke.”

Recent releases trace an increasingly personal and cinematic arc, from Lover, his most intimate work, to Lost Gospel, his darkest and most atmospheric release to date.

His latest single Be Mine, released January 9, marks a turn into noir soul territory and features Matt Johnson from Jeff Buckley’s Grace on drums.

Born in Stockholm, raised in Los Angeles, and now based in London, Jesper shapes Diamond Meadows as a project of noir heartbreak and emotional intensity.
